For business

The bridge between your business and its technology.

I help businesses that don't have the time, budget or in-house skills to sort out their website, systems and day-to-day tech. As much or as little as you need.

Sound familiar?

Four signs your technology has outgrown you

Your website is an embarrassment.

It was fine when it was built. Now it's slow, dated or awkward on a phone, and you'd rather not send people to it.

Too much of your week goes on manual work.

Copying details between spreadsheets, chasing paperwork, retyping the same information. The work gets done, but it's eating hours you can't afford.

Your tools don't talk to each other.

A booking system here, an invoicing tool there, and a spreadsheet holding it all together. Nobody is sure which one is right.

Nobody in-house knows how it all fits.

When something breaks, or you want to change something, you're not sure who to call or whether they'll understand your setup.

What I do about it

Four things that change

A website that does its job

Clear, fast and easy to use, and set up so people can find you and get in touch. I also take on existing sites that need repairing or refreshing.

Less manual work

I map how your business really runs, then streamline or automate the repetitive parts, using AI where it helps and plain good process where it doesn't.

Systems that grow with you

Networks, cloud and software set up properly, so growth doesn't mean starting again.

Someone to call

Ongoing support, backups, security, and fast help when something goes wrong.

How it works

From first conversation to done

  1. A free conversation

Tell me what's getting in your way. I'll ask questions before I suggest anything.

  2. I look at how you actually work

I map your processes and tools first, so I'm fixing the real problem and not the obvious one.

  3. A clear plan

You get a prioritised plan in writing, including what isn't worth spending money on yet.

  4. I do the work

I build it myself, and you hear from me at each stage.

  5. Support afterwards

I don't disappear after delivery. Ongoing support is there if you want it.

Why work with me

One person who knows your business

You deal with me, every time

No account managers, no handovers, no call centre. The person you speak to is the person doing the work.

I've seen it from many sides

I've worked in web marketing, broadcast engineering, telecommunications and software development, and I studied business analysis and information systems. I look at the whole business, not one narrow slice.

I'll tell you what not to buy

If a simpler option does the job, I'll recommend it, even when it means a smaller project.

I'm upfront about my limits

I'm one person. If I'm unwell or away, things can pause, and I'd rather you know that now. If a job needs a bigger team, I'll say so.

Questions

Straight answers

Do you only work with bigger businesses?

No. Most of the businesses I help are small, with no IT person and no time to become one.

Can you work with what I already have?

Usually, yes. I'll look at your current website, tools and setup first, and tell you honestly what's worth keeping.

How much will it cost?

It depends on what you need, so I don't publish a price list. After a free conversation you get the scope and the price in writing before any work starts.

What if something goes wrong after the project?

Ongoing support is available, and I don't disappear after delivery. For an urgent problem, get in touch and I'll tell you what I can do and when.

What happens if you're unavailable?

I'm one person, so work can pause when I'm unwell or away. I'll tell you about any planned time off ahead of time.

Where are you based?

I'm based in the Hills District, NSW. Tell me where you are and what you need, and I'll tell you how I can help.

One thing to know

Your site may appear in my portfolio

You own everything I build for you. As part of my service, I show the finished sites in my portfolio, which can send extra visitors your way, because people browsing my work may click through to yours. If your project needs to stay private, tell me before we start and I'll leave it out. If you have any concerns about this, please raise them in our initial conversation.

Not sure where to start?

Tell me what's getting in your way. The first conversation is free, and I'll tell you honestly what's worth doing and what isn't.
